Aside from the Room menu, you can still use the crate and vendor for placing items as well.Īside from the main Housing UI, you can manage your neighbors and roommates from your social panel. There's a ton you can do with all the options, and you're free to select them to see a live preview before purchasing. You'll find a similar setup to the House menu, with five categories available: Ceiling, Trim, Walls, Floor, and Lighting. Instead, they are replaced with the Room category. The Landscape and House option aren't available when inside your dwelling. The list button will pull up an organized list of all your placed decor, and you can choose to delete items or send them back to your crate here. The Escape button will return you to the property entrance, and is nice for when you accidentally bury yourself in a bunch of boxes. There is a toggle for Edit mode, which can be useful to turn off if you don't want to accidentally select an item when chilling in your pad. There are a few remaining options at the bottom of the housing UI panel that are worth noting. Like the crate, the vendor separates things out into organized categories for easier sorting. Prices vary depending on the piece, and you will need either Renown (the currency earned while in groups) or gold. If you're decorating with a goal, the vendor has what you need. Don't worry, you own them after purchasing, and they will go to your crate. The Vendor is pretty much exactly like the crate, with the exception that you have to purchase the item before placing. You can play with the controls again at any time by right clicking the piece of decor. At this point you can either hit the Place button or right click off of the item and it will plop it on the chosen spot. The item will also have neon-green bars with handles you can use to rotate it. You'll notice a mini menu with some options - Toggle advanced controls, Linking an item, and send to crate. Upon selecting, then right click on the location you want to place it, and it will display a live preview. To place an item, navigate through the filters to find your item among the list and select it. At max level, this rested experience applies towards earning Elder Gems. Specific interior decor will grant additional boosts as well. You gain rested experience faster when logging out in your home than anywhere else. The buff board provides a choice of 3 unique daily buffs, one for Adventures and Dungeons, one for PvP, and one for general questing and hunting. When you get there, you will have to check out the Housing Displays and then proceed to the Housing Hologram that will take you to your Home in the Sky! It is located in the southern area of the capital. You can either take the tram by talking to a Protostar Housing Representative or walk there by yourself. The Protostar Housing Specialist will tell you to get to the Housing of the Future building located in your capital. Soon as you get there, you will get a call from the Protostar Housing Specialist to get started on the Housing Quest. When you hit level 14, go to your faction's capital city.
